Synopsis: This memorandum considers some of the features of the Bermuda vehicles available to transaction parties and sets out some of the reasons why clients opt for the Bermuda advantage. Core benefits of Bermuda include the reputational excellence of the jurisdiction underpinned by the facilitative but responsible legislative environment. The OECD has listed Bermuda as a ‘white-listed’ jurisdiction. Bermuda is fully committed to international standards of transparency and disclosure.
