Everard Barclay Simmons was appointed Managing Partner of Attride-Stirling & Woloniecki in January 2006.
Prior to re-joining ASW, Barclay was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Company in New York . Previously, Barclay was part of the litigation team that founded ASW in 1999.
Barclay received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School , and an LLB ( Hons ) from the University of Kent at Canterbury . Barclay completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1997 and the Bermuda Bar in 1998. In 1999 he completed the Territorial Army Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and was previously a serving infantry officer in the Bermuda Regiment.
Barclay currently sits on the five member, Public Funds Investment Committee, responsible for the allocation of US$1.2 billion of funds for the Bermuda Government and people of Bermuda and was previously Chairman of the Telecommunications Commission. |
